The Iraqi press, especially during the royal era, had a major role in documenting the events, whether they were political, economic or social, because they lived the event and became an eyewitness to it, and did not let the small or large except and shed light on it, in order to reach useful remedies and solutions that contribute to correcting the reality that Iraq lived through that era. Among those newspapers, the Baghdad newspaper Al-Sa'iqa stood out, which gave the field of education a special importance, because of its clear impact on the individual and society alike. From this standpoint, we chose this topic, which was titled "The Attitude of Al-Saiqa Newspaper on Educational Institutions in Royal Iraq 1952-1953 as a Model", to talk about educational institutions in Iraq, starting with the Ministry of Education as the top of the educational pyramid in the country and the role of its ministers during this period. , passing through the Council of Higher Education, which was established in the early fifties of the last century, and the idea of establishing the University of Baghdad, which took a large part of the interest of the newspaper, and the Iraqi Scientific Academy, and ending with the ancient College of Law, the House of Wisdom, and the College of Pharmacy and Chemistry.
